Proposition 65

California’s Proposition 65 requires businesses that sell products in California to provide warning notices to Californians about products that contain certain chemicals. The list of chemicals requiring a warning notice, of which there are currently over 900, is determined by the State of California.

Like many other businesses across all industries, some of the products sold by RahrBSG contain trace amounts of various chemicals that are on California’s list of chemicals requiring a warning notice, but they are all part of the normal manufacturing process.

If a product contains a Proposition 65 warning, it is not an indication that such product is in violation of any health or safety standard or regulation. The warning is provided so that California purchasers are fully informed about potential exposure to listed chemicals.

If you’re an authorized retailer of RahrBSG’s products, please use the point-of-sale notice and shelf tags with California consumers at your business as appropriate. The SKU list is not intended to be displayed, but is rather a reference list for you and your staff should consumers have questions regarding specific RahrBSG-supplied items they are purchasing.
