Expert research, analysis, and innovative methodology are at the heart of the Rahr Technical Center, located at Rahr’s headquarters in Shakopee, MN.

The Rahr Technical Center consists of a 3-hL pilot brewery, micro- and pilot maltings, and a laboratory with state of the art microbiological and chemical testing instrumentation. The capabilities of the lab include ASBC Methods of Analysis for guided analysis of barley, malt, hops, and beer, as well as custom projects.
