Founded in 1820 by Johann Schlagbauer (although, as is the case with many farms in Hallertau, hops were already being grown here) Anton and Beate are the 6thgeneration to farm Plank. 
 

Bartholomäus and Eleonore are the 10thgeneration of Obsters to farm Peterlippl, which was founded in 1661 by Kaspar Heckmaier. Growing a mix of traditional and new varieties, the Obsters are above all quality-oriented.

Great Pedding Farm started out as 195 acres before expanding over the decades, producing fruit, sheep, cattle, potatoes, and – of course – hops. AC Hulme & Sons was formed in 1969 and continues today under the leadership of Humphrey Hulme and his nephew Tom.

Ben and Dave Smith are part of the fifth generation of a hop-growing family rooted in the sandy loam along the Willamette River. They grew up moving pipe, driving tractor, and generally helping out during harvest on their father’s farm. Ben and Dave knew from an early age that they wanted to continue this legacy.
