Tariff FAQ: What You Need to Know

New tariffs went into effect at the end of July, impacting a range of imported goods from international markets. Working closely with our primary international malting partners, RahrBSG will continue taking steps to help minimize the impact of these tariffs for our customers.

Through collaboration with our supplier partners, we are focused on keeping prices stable and limiting the impact of tariffs wherever possible. While future changes to fuel, logistics, or other market costs could influence pricing, we are pleased to be able to offer price stability where we can in a challenging market.

What this means for RahrBSG customers:

August 2026 Tariffs Update

• Malts from Rahr Malting Co. (US & Canada)
• Malts from Gambrinus
• Domestic hops (U.S. grown varieties)

Currently Exempt from Tariffs:

• Malts from Mouterij Dingemans
• Malts from Simpsons Malt
• Malts from Weyermann®
